What We Believe

Belief

We believe in one God who created all things.  God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are one person, but have three functions.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ was conceived by the Virgin Mary through a miracle of the Holy Spirit.  He lives forever as perfect God and perfect man:  two distinct natures inseparably united in one person.  Jesus offered Himself as a sacrifice on the cross in full payment for the sins of all mankind.  He was buried, and on the third day He rose bodily from the dead.  He ascended into heaven and now sits on the right hand of the Throne of God.

We believe that Adam willfully disobeyed God, bringing sin and death into the world.  As a result, all persons are sinners from conception.  Eternal punishment in Hell, separated from God is the destination of all mankind due to nature.

We believe that each person can be saved through the work of Jesus Christ through repentance of sin and by faith alone in Him as Savior.  The believer is born again and assured a place with Christ in heaven.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the giver of all life and is the agent of inspiration and the new birth.  He restrains sin and Satan and He indwells all believers.

We believe that the Holy Sprit indwells every believer from the moment of Salvation.  He is responsible to lead us to obey the Bible and to separate us from sin.

We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, though written by men, was supernaturally inspired by God.

We believe the church is a local assembly of saved and baptized believers.  The Church is to follow the Bible and the Leadership of Christ completely.  Every Church is to evangelize, to teach, and to administer the ordinances of Believer’s Baptism (by Immersion) and Communion.

We believe that Jesus Christ is soon returning for the Church (Believers) in the Rapture before the Tribulation takes place.
